Sometimes replacing your kitchen doors, and keeping the original cabinets is all you need to give your kitchen the lift it has been looking for, it can be both cost effective and give you a brand new kitchen style.

When working out the door size you need to reduce the door by 2mm on the width of your cabinet/carcass, and 5mm from the height.

As an example, if you are replacing a 600mm kitchen cabinet the measurements will normally be as follows:

Cabinet
Width: 600mm
Height: 720mm (870mm including legs)

Door
Width: 598mm (600mm minus 2mm)
Height: 715mm (720mm minus 5mm)
